Karlık Turistik was founded in 1985 in Istanbul by Master Halil, a lighting artisan with a profound passion for traditional Turkish handicrafts. What began in a small workshop as a mission to preserve and pass down the Ottoman-era arts of copper filigree and glasswork has, over the decades, evolved into a powerful family legacy.

From a young age, Master Halil mastered the art of copper filigree, viewing his craft not merely as a profession but as a vital cultural heritage. Every chandelier and lamp he created became a reflection of ancestral mastery and patient dedication.

Having grown up within the walls of the workshop, his sons—Halil İbrahim and Ömer—now carry the torch forward. By refining the skills passed down from their father, they lead the production and design of Karlık Turistik today. This makes the company a true family enterprise, sustained by the labor and vision of second-generation masters.

Craftsmanship & Artistry

Every piece produced in our workshop is entirely handcrafted. Frames meticulously shaped through copper filigree are combined with:

  • Mosaic Glass

  • Crackle Glass

  • Decorative Art Glass

  • Hand-blown Glass

These components transform into unique lighting designs that are more than just a source of light; they are works of art that bring an authentic atmosphere and distinct character to any space.
